Refund Policy

At Hikingelements, we take pride in the quality of our handmade knives and stand by our products. For information on returning or exchanging an item, please review our comprehensive return and exchange policies outlined below.

Returns and Exchanges Information:

We gladly accept returns and provide refunds under the following conditions:

  • Defective Items: If you receive a defective item, you have 30 days from the date of receipt to request a refund or exchange for a replacement.
  • Incorrect Items Received: In the rare event you receive an item different from what you ordered, please return it in its original, unused condition along with the original packaging.
  • Non-Defective Items: If you wish to return an item for any other reason, you may do so within 30 days of receipt, provided it is in its original packaging and has not been used.

Important Conditions:

  • Refunds or exchanges due to sizing issues are not permitted. Please consult the size guide available on each product page before purchasing.
  • Items must be returned in their original condition to be eligible for a refund. Opened or used products cannot be accepted for return.
  • We encourage you to thoroughly read product descriptions prior to making a purchase. If the item received differs from the description, please contact us immediately so we can resolve the issue.

For eligible returns or refunds, items must be returned in a saleable condition. To initiate the return process, please follow these steps:

  1. Have your original order number ready.
  2. Contact our Customer Service via our Contact Us page or directly at [your email address].
  3. Once your return/refund request is approved, you will receive a confirmation via email.

Return Shipping:

You will be responsible for covering the shipping costs associated with returning an item. Please note that return shipping costs are non-refundable. If a refund is processed, the return shipping fees along with a $5 restocking fee will be deducted from your total refund amount.

Additional Notes:

  • Custom and personalized orders are final sales and cannot be returned or refunded. Full payment is required for custom orders.
  • Items marked as discounted or on sale are non-refundable.

Damages and Issues:

Upon receiving your order, we recommend inspecting the items immediately. If you notice any defects, damages, or if you received the wrong item, please contact us without delay so we can address the issue promptly.

Cancellation Policy:
